Laid off from Ingram Micro.
Ingram Micro has cut staff in each year since 2023 through restructurings reported company-wide. Since 2024 the notices we track were for closing sites in Missouri, Nevada and Arizona. It said the Arizona work would shift to other Ingram sites and a South Carolina center would serve the Missouri region.

The most recent Ingram Micro layoff we've found
Ingram Micro Services said, in a July 2026 KTAR report from the Phoenix Business Journal, that it was moving its Chandler, Arizona operations to existing sites in Mira Loma, California, and Plainfield, Indiana, ahead of closing the facility by Dec. 31.
What Ingram Micro layoffs have meant for employees
Ingram's own count for its early-2024 cuts came later, in a regulatory filing that put them at 503, according to CRN's December report. Since then the restructuring notes in its 2025 Form 10-K and June 2026 quarterly report have carried the running tally, by year and by quarter. Those tallies don't line up one for one with the announcements. The 1,056 is Ingram's count for fiscal 2024 as a whole, while the 850 that CEO Paul Bay announced in December 2024 was a plan expected to be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2025. The June 2026 report, for one, counted 253 headcount reductions in the second quarter alone and 574 across the first 26 weeks of the year. If you're still there, the 10-K also put the company's expectation in writing, $10 million to $16 million more in restructuring charges in 2026 as the initiatives continued.
Those notes split the costs by region, from North America to Latin America, and neither one names a building or a city. Every Ingram notice in our WARN tracker from 2024 on has been for a site closing, Missouri first, then Nevada and Arizona, the last of them reported by KTAR in July 2026. So if your whole site closed, the state's record of the notice gives its date and size, while a company-wide round shows up as a line in the filings' tallies.
Customers in the Missouri site's region were to be served from an advanced logistics center in South Carolina, a spokesperson told CRN, and the Chandler operations were set to shift to existing Ingram locations in Mira Loma and Plainfield, Ingram Micro Services said in the same KTAR report. If you're covered by the Chandler notice, it's worth finding out which of its dates applies to your role, since reductions were expected to begin Sept. 25 and the closing was planned for Dec. 31.
What Ingram has put in writing about support has described its kinds more than its amounts. In December 2024, Bay announced the planned eliminations and said local teams would provide details on benefits and payments in the coming weeks. As of December 27, 2025, Ingram's U.S. associates weren't represented by a labor union or covered by a collective bargaining agreement, according to the 10-K's human capital section. If an offer reaches you, negotiating severance covers what's commonly open to discussion.
Plenty of the people working in Ingram's buildings are temporary or contract workers. The same 10-K reports thousands of them at peak alongside the full-time associates, and the 2016 Fort Worth notice, as Channel Futures read it, counted far more Elwood Staffing contract workers than Ingram Micro Mobility associates. Ingram said then that it was working with the Texas Rapid Response Unit on human resources help for the affected workers. If an agency placed you at an Ingram site, it's worth knowing which company's name is on your paycheck, because that notice sorted the people it covered by employer.
For a claim in the states where Ingram's recent cuts landed, Arizona unemployment benefits, Missouri unemployment benefits and Nevada unemployment benefits each cover how that state takes a claim and what it pays, and Texas unemployment benefits does likewise for the state of the Fort Worth notices. New York unemployment benefits covers New York, home of the Wehrle Drive office in Williamsville that WKBW reported on in December 2024. Arizona layoffs and Nevada layoffs gather other employers' notices in those two states.

What to do if you're laid off from Ingram Micro
- File for unemployment in the state where you worked. Benefits run from your filing date, and severance usually doesn't block you. Ingram Micro's biggest hubs: Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Missouri. Somewhere else? Every state is here.
- Apply for financial and hardship assistance. Unemployment supplements income, but food benefits, health coverage and utility help are often available as well. Here's some of what Ingram Micro's hub states run: Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Missouri, and every other state is here.
- Mind the health insurance window. Losing coverage opens a 60-day special enrollment period, and an ACA plan usually beats unsubsidized COBRA. Compare your options before the employer coverage lapses, and read how the COBRA clocks run if you are weighing it seriously.
- Get your real runway number. Severance plus savings divided by reality. The calculator takes five minutes.
- Know which clocks are already running. Severance review windows, COBRA election, visa grace periods, and 401(k) rollovers all run on federal deadlines that started at termination. All five deadlines are here.

Why has Ingram Micro cut jobs?
Ingram traced its 2023 plan to "changing global and local market conditions" and its 2024 initiatives to a push "to enhance organizational efficiency and strengthen customer service capabilities," in the restructuring note of its 2025 Form 10-K. Ingram Micro Services called the 2026 Chandler closing part of "an ongoing effort to optimize our operations and better serve our customers and partners," according to KTAR.
